I spent an afternoon with Daphney. We spoke about many things, I chose to share her story of her journey over to England.

In this film I interviewed a ninety one year old woman about her experiences of migrating to the United Kingdom.  During the interview I became interested in the process of recollection, the fragility of memory and her personal experience of the Windrush generation.  The visual style uses extreme close ups and unsynchronised audio are strategies used to portray the effort and fragmentary nature of Daphney's recollections.
